Who is Zachary Collingham?
I'm Zach Collingham and I have been an elected Councillor for Thurcroft & Wickersley South for the last three years. I am thrilled to be standing again on 2nd May.
I have worked in Wickersley and Thurcroft as a local solicitor for a decade and I have had the chance to work closely with countless families.
I know how many good, decent, hardworking people we have in our villages. They deserve a strong community and services they can rely on. That is why I first got involved and why I want to keep doing my bit.
I‘m a professional problem-solver, with expertise and a realistic approach. I keep pushing until we get the improvements we want and I will work with anyone to get them.
We have made some great progress in Wickersley and Thurcroft, including a high street revamp, resurfaced roads and thousands of pounds in grants for local groups. We have started to show what local councillors can do for you, encouraging the Labour lot we have had for 50 years to pull their socks up.
I want to build on what we have done and keep getting our villages the investment and attention they deserve. Locally, it is rarely about politics and more often about the community. I believe Tom Collingham and I have proven we will stand up for our community every time.
