Together with the chairman of Todwick Parish Council, I met with the Grange Estate residents. They communicated their frustrations and concerns around the A57.
Residents offered to pay for a junction warning sign. I promised residents this would not be necessary. I’m delighted to say that after holding numerous meetings with officers I’ve delivered on this promise and Rotherham Council has installed a junction warning sign.
Make no doubt that action is still required on this road to get it to a satisfactory level. I now believe Rotherham Council & The South Yorkshire Combined Authority must come up with a plan to improve it and the ‘Red lion roundabout’.
