Zach and Tom recently carried out a Ward walk along Brampton Road and are pleased to report that road and pavement repairs will now be carried out this financial year.
Road resurfacing will take place on Brampton Road, between the junction with Katherine Road and the Consort Hotel. An extensive pathway repair will be carried out along the footway between the junction with Katherine Road and Brampton-en-le-Morthen village.
Zach said ‘We have seen first hand that parts of Brampton Road are in real need of repair and the path needs to be clean, clear and accessible for all residents, including those on mobility scooters. These works will be a real improvement for all local residents’.
Many of you have also raised real safety concerns about visibility and speeding at the Brampton Avenue junction. Councillors are working closely with the local Highways team to look at any safety measures that can be implemented and arranging enforcement with neighbourhood police.
