Councillor Lewis Mills attended Ravenfield Pop-up Cafe with Council Officers Ben, Nicola and Nicola to talk to and get feedback from residents about the proposed plans to improve Ravenfield Crossroad.
Cllr Lewis Mills and Cllr Greg Reynolds have secured 130k from the Towns and Villages Fund to improve the crossroad area.
Plans include installing blocked paving, planters, picnic benches (on the green space outside the shops), tree lights, dual waste bin and a new notice board.
Further to this we’re looking into improving the traffic lights system with a flow system and taking up the anti-skid tarmac and installing fresh with new KEEP CLEAR markings outside properties.
Lewis said “It was great to speak to residents about what they would like to see within the village. It’s all about working together on projects like this and will be a real boost for the local area.”
If anyone would like to give comments on proposed plans please get in contact with either Lewis or Greg.
