Fantastic morning at Aston Lodge Primary School where I awarded pupils with book gift cards as part of a writing competition on their experience of the trip we funded. The trip inspired young pupils to explore career options in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM).
After listening to the students’ presentations, I told the school that Cllr Aaron Barker and I will support them with future trips.
I gave a short speech during an assembly where I emphasized the importance of motivation and determination in life.
