Last week Cllr Lewis Mills and Cllr Greg Reynolds along with Neighbourhood Coordinator Nicola and Wayne from Love where you Live put on a litter pick starting from St Francis Church to the back of Morrisons.
We were also joined by Judith from St Francis Church Bramley along with her new attendees Amir and Mehdi who are currently staying with us within the ward.
Lewis said “It was amazing to see how well Amir and Mehdi have integrated into our community. They have a real passion for doing the right thing and not afraid to get stuck in!”
Our little litter picking group managed to collect 20 bags of litter, a sofa cushion and some large plastic all in just two hours!
