SOCIAL ACTION IN ROTHERHAM
Members of the three Rotherham Conservative Associations and Conservative Future spent Saturday 13th October 2012 painting at High Hopes Riding For The Disabled in Thorpe Hesley. Wentworth Conservative Association Chairman Alan Sheriff who had arranged the project said; “All of us in the local Conservative party are great believers in working together to make Rotherham and South Yorkshire better for all of its residents. This is the first of what we hope will become many social action days and if any organisations need help by all means contact one of the Rotherham Councillors and let us have details. There is more work to be done at High Hopes and we will be returning in the spring to paint the stable block once the horses are out to grass.” High Hopes does invaluable work with disabled children and adults and is grateful for all donations. If anyone can help then please contact Shirley Hudson at the charity on 07847335065
