In an effort to help clean-up the ward and prevent fly tipping, Cllr Lewis Mills and Cllr Greg Reynolds funded a Community Skip day where local residents had the opportunity to get rid of unwanted waste.
As always, Lewis and Greg were assisted by Nicola (Neighbourhood Coordinator), Paul (Housing Officer), Katie (Community Support Officer) and two ground working lads who did a great job in helping residents with their waste.
Cllr Reynolds said “It was great to see residents coming and using the skip for their benefit”
This was the first Community Skip Day the councillors have put on and they’ll definitely be doing one again.
